Description
Sunglow Purple Boa For Sale Canada
A Sunglow Purple Boa for sale Canada is built on the same Hypo Albino Sunglow combo found in standard Sunglow boas, but represents a selectively bred color line within that combo that produces distinctive purple to lavender shading layered over the usual vivid orange, coral, or yellow Sunglow base, similar to how other named Sunglow lines such as Lipstick or Sunfire are bred for their own specific tonal qualities.
Buyers searching for a Sunglow Purple Boa for sale Canada should understand that, like any Sunglow, this line depends on the codominant Hypo trait combined with the recessive Albino trait, and that Albino in boas exists as separate incompatible lines, so the specific lineage behind a Sunglow Purple ball matters for anyone hoping to reproduce its particular coloration in future breeding. Every Sunglow Purple Boa for sale Canada listing we offer states the exact documented line and parentage of that specific animal, including its Hypo and Albino background.
Feeding for a Sunglow Purple Boa for sale Canada is an appropriately sized frozen thawed rodent diet, generally mice progressing to rats and eventually larger prey as the animal grows into adulthood, and we track and share individual feeding history for every Sunglow Purple so new owners know exactly what to continue at home. Because reproducing this specific color line requires confirmed, line-compatible Hypo and Albino parentage from proven purple-toned stock, breeders searching for a Sunglow Purple Boa for sale Canada to expand into further selective color projects benefit significantly from our full documented genetic records.
CFIA live animal import and permission requirements
As a Boa constrictor imperator, a Sunglow Purple Boa for sale Canada reaches a more moderate adult size than a true red tail boa, typically six to eight feet, and is widely regarded as one of the calmer, more beginner-friendly large constrictors in the hobby once established, needing a secure, appropriately sized terrestrial enclosure with a stable warm to cool thermal gradient. Temperament in a Sunglow Purple Boa for sale Canada is generally consistent with Colombian boas overall, calm and food motivated once settled, which makes this striking color line appealing to both new keepers drawn to its unusual tones and experienced breeders building toward specific Sunglow color projects.
Quality Assurance, Genetic Documentation, and Longevity
Every animal listed goes through the same pre-sale health screening as the rest of our collection, covering body condition, respiratory clarity, skin and shed quality, and overall weight, with any animal showing concerns held back for further care rather than shipped.
Because line identity is essential both for Albino compatibility and for reproducing this specific purple-toned coloration, we maintain and disclose full documented genetics for our breeding stock so buyers purchasing for future color projects can trust the pairing history and specific line behind each animal, not just its visual appearance at the time of sale.
A well cared for Sunglow Purple can live twenty to thirty years in captivity, and its husbandry needs remain stable across that lifespan once established in an appropriate enclosure, with no special care requirements tied to the color line itself, though coloration in some Sunglow lines can shift or deepen somewhat as the animal matures.
